“Instructions following Oral Surgery” should be followed in addition to these special instructions unique to your surgery.
SINUS PRECAUTIONS
Do not do any activities that will increase the pressure in your mouth or nose.
No smoking, No nose blowing, no holding your breath, no blowing up balloons or playing wind instruments. No drinking from straws or bottles.
Coughing, sneezing and yawning should be done with your mouth open so the pressure between mouth and nose equalizes faster.
Follow the above instructions as directed by your surgeon.

MEDICATIONS
You may be required to purchase these medications at your pharmacy.
Please follow the directions given on your surgery day.
Decongestant tabs: Take 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet at bedtime as directed
Otrivin™ Nasal Spray: 1 spray in each nostril 3 times a day as directed
