Meet Mathieu Carrier, DMD, MD, MBA, FRCD(C)

Dr. Carrier is a registered specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery who has practiced in Edmonton, Alberta since 2019.

Dr. Carrier earned his Doctor in Dental Medicine (DMD) and Master in Business Administration (MBA) at Laval University in Quebec. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Alberta and his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas in Houston.

He is an active Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a member of the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has served in the Canadian Armed Forces for over 20 years and he is the current Regional Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for Western Canada. Dr. Carrier also contributes to education as a clinical instructor and guest lecturer at the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.

He is fluent in French and English and enjoys connecting with patients from all backgrounds. He believes in providing thoughtful, respectful care and strives to make every patient feel informed and supported throughout every stage of their treatment. In his spare time, he enjoys martial arts, staying active, and exploring the outdoors with his family.
